What We Do

Structural design projects of Highrise Buildings, Housings, Offices, Shopping Centers, Hospitals, Cultural Centers are prepared and reported.

In the design, internationally accepted analysis programs (Etabs, Sap2000, Perform 3D) and CAD softwares (AutoCAD and Revit) are used.

Besides, special programs developed by Mertebe are used to make calculation and drawings instead of using ready-made design and drafting packages. In addtion to the construction drawings, bill of quantities and technical specifications are prepared 

We have experience in Eqarthquake Resistant Building Design and Performance Based Design. In this context, the design are made compatible with Turkish Earthquake Building Code 2018 (TBDY-2018).

In addition to local standards, ACI 318, AISC 360, AISC 341, ASCE 7, ASCE 41, SNIP and Eurocode standards can be effectively used and designs can be made accordingly.

Consulting services can be provided in stages of project development and construction documents. This service can be in various forms.

During the design phase, either project designer or employers can request Project Consultancy Services. If the employer or controller requests, we can provide Performance Based Design projects compatible with Turkish Earthquake Building Code (TBDY-2018). In our works, it is aimed to realize the preliminary design in harmony with the architecture, to use our know-how in similar projects, to reduce the returns during the construction, and to reflect the application / installation practices to the works.

Consultancy services can also be provided to architectural design teams for any phase of the design. In order to make architectural concept designs more realistic and to consider application practices in design, consultancy can be productive. The service can be continue in construction document phases.

Some software has been developed for the preparation of drawings and calculations for structural projects. Additionally, some custom drawing and calculation programs can be prepared according to the needs.

Our concrete drawing program ckCAD is designed to draw structural wall, columns, beams, slabs, stairs, basic reinforcement details in AutoCAD program. Drawings can be made with simple and fast data inputs. Both high quality and quick detail production are aimed in our software. The program reflects the results of our long practice experience, and it is designed to meet employer demands. Users can be easily and quickly adapted to software.

Our calculation and reporting programs are compatible with Etabs and Perform 3D. Since programs are developed regarding the engineering practice, they can help engineers to reduce mistakes, and to provide quick evaluation and reporting.

We believe in the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences. For this purpose, we aim to contribute to the trainings given by universities, vocational chambers and special education institutions.

In order to reach more people, we will be using our blog pages. The topics such as design practices and software training are shared to help the structural designers. We will also share our own views and methods about some specific issues in design. Sometimes you can see things outside our profession.
